The Mud Run’s first wave begins at 8am!

YES! This year you can register as an individual or as a team of two – but no more than two on a team. You can run together with your friends with as many as you’d like, but you are only qualified for awards as an individual or team of 2!

Sorry, no pets or friends of the four-legged or winged variety are allowed. The exception is of course if they are a registered guide dog and are easily identified as such.

Yep! There will be plenty of frosty cold beverages to soothe your thirst after the race! Make sure you BRING YOUR ID! There will be an ID check for a beer bracelet. No bracelet, no beer! And of course plenty of water too!

Students, Military and First Responders price always stays $45 per person or $85 per team no matter when you register – and we will be running specials through social media so make sure to friend “JCB Mud Run” on Facebook.

Yes, for The Mud Run ages 8 and up are allowed to participate in the run. For ages 7 and under, we will have a kiddie race called the Mud Dobber. Adult supervision IS required during the Mud Dobber race.

The JCB MudFest is designed for and geared toward having fun, getting muddy, and getting your heartbeat up! That said, the obstacles will not be as intense as some other muddy events throughout the country – NO fire pits,death-defying towers or barbed wire! There will be some serious mud pits to slosh through, some other man-made, remember we manufacture dirt-loving equipment, and natural obstacles to conquer. And keep in mind there are always ways to go around any obstacle including the lake!

The Mud Run race starts in waves. Approximately 100 participants will go at a time, with a 5 minute lag between each wave. When you register you can choose your own start time – early bird gets the good start time, so sign up NOW!

Yes. After you finish, JCB style cleaning stations are available to help wash some of the mud and dirt off… if you want! There will be plenty of time to dry off (if it’s not raining) at the after party too!

Absolutely! Packets can be picked up race morning between 6:30 AM and 7:45 AM at JCB, just look for the Packet Pick-up / Registration sign.

Parts of the lake may be over 6 feet deep. There will be ropes and other sneaky ways to get yourself across.   However if you are unable, or do not want to swim you may run around the lake. There will be also be certified lifeguards on duty at all times.

You do not have to wear a costume but feel free to show your wild side as there will be awards for the Best Team Costume. Just remember to keep the costumes family friendly since there will be plenty of kids of all ages enjoying the mud and sludge!

Costume judging will take place at the JCB Events Trailer (near start / finish line) from 7:15 AM – approximately 9:30 AM.

Sorry, but there are no refunds. As soon as the registration is processed, the proceeds go to The Lady Bamford Center for Early Childhood Development. Registrations may be transferred to another runner, contact for assistance in transferring your registration.

Absolutely! As a matter of fact, it’s encouraged since we are expecting 2,000 muddy runners this year! All you’ll need is your Team Name or list of both teammates names AND the signed waiver for each runner! Download the waiver here —> JCB Mudfest Participant Waiver

Sorry NO bag check, so make sure to bring a friend if you need someone to hold your “stuff.” Please leave valuables, especially jewelry at home!

Of course, just remember we are not responsible if someone finds the contents of your cooler to their liking! We will also have food and beverages at the Post Race Party – racers are free, all spectators are a $10.00 (cash or check) donation to The Lady Bamford Center for Early Childhood Development. Please note, due to permitting restrictions, you are NOT allowed to bring alcohol on site.

We recommend it! It’s great when you’re running along with an extra 10 pounds of mud stuck to your shoes to have people cheering you on from the sidelines! Parking is free but we are asking for a $10.00 (cash or check) donation to The Lady Bamford Center for Early Childhood Development that will also give you access to all the food and beverage at the Post Race After Party. Please remember to have a Photo ID if you plan on having a beer. People 21 and over will be required to wear a wristband to consume alcohol.

Signed waivers are required to be dropped off when you pick up your race bib.
You can do this the day of the event, but we recommend you save precious time by downloading and printing the Registration and Waiver and picking up your bib during packet pick up.
NOTE: EVERYONE participating must provide the completed waiver at packet pick-up! A team member can bring in both team member waivers at once and pick up the entire team’s packet — highly encouraged — or each team member can bring in their own waiver and pick up their packet.
